TITLE: Director, Division of Workforce Development
The Director of the Division of Workforce Development supervises the activities of the Division of Workforce Development staff and provides staff support to the Workforce Development Board.
Oversees budget preparation and control; reviews and develops statistical data, correspondence and reports as required.
Supervises and recommends, concerning all details of hiring, promotions, evaluation reports, and other personnel actions involving staff workers.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the President and CEO.
MINIMUM PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology, Sociology, Education or Allied Field preferred but not mandatory; or, minimum two years of closely related work experience in an administrative position.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to perform assigned task.
Ability to maintain harmonious work relationships; verbal facility to deal with people at all levels; ability to plan, initiate, and execute approved programs, and facility with words and numbers.
