Workforce Development

The Coordinating & Development Corporation (CDC) stands as a representative of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Our experienced and qualified staff provides a variety of services to employers and job seekers in the following parishes: Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, and Webster.

The Coordinating & Development Corporation is federally funded and aims to improve the quality of employment services for employers and job seekers in Northwest Louisiana. We provide job-training programs and other services, specifically for the youth, adults and dislocated workers in our communities.

CDC staff delivers WIOA services to the public at locations known as “American Job Centers” (AJCs). Within our Local Workforce Development Area, there are 10 AJC facilities. Our American Job Centers are a great place to start your job search. The services at the AJCs are provided at no cost to you. Our staff will help you find and land your first job or put you on a path to a successful career.

Pre-Application Screening Form

The purpose of the Pre-Application Screening Form is for applicants to provide information that can be reviewed to determine their possible eligibility for WIOA program services. The completion and submission of the form by an applicant does not constitute a definitive eligibility determination but allows the CDC Central Eligibility Coordinator reviewing the form to decide if the applicant should be requested to report to your local American Job Center to complete a final eligibility determination and WIOA program enrollment.

Thank you for your interest in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program.
